The weekend brought more rain, but luckily not as aggressive as the last couple of weeks. We are facing better weather in the coming days, hopefully allowing the ground to become less saturated. Along the cost, in the mountains and along creeks and rivers throughout the county there are mud slides, sink holes, road closures, downed trees and general damage. While damages are still being assessed, there are still community efforts for clean up and volunteering. Be sure to check out the links posted if you’d like to help. Hopefully there will soon be an opportunity to hear steps and plans to move forward to come back stronger and better than before.
