Wow, 2020 is finally behind us and 2021 is starting off with a bang. 💥
What did we learn from 2020? Well I am not sure, but at least in the Santa Cruz County real estate market we learned buyer demand is strong, and folks do not have a lot to choose from. For January 2021 the median sale price for all of Santa Cruz County was $1,105,000, which was over 200,000 more than January of the previous year. Inventory is almost half as much as it was at the same time last year and homes are selling in about half the time.
